If you are HIV positive we would very much like to hear your view about visiting your GP. Please take a few moments to fill in this survey. It should take less then ten minutes to complete. We do not ask for any personal information other than your post code if you are happy to give it.

This survey has been compiled by HIV positive patients and it is designed to help us better understand both your relationship with your GP and how you would like to see Primary Care services develop in the future.

Section Six

How you would like to see GP services develop in the future

Consultations about the future delivery of Primary Care services for HIV positive patients is underway. There are several models being reviewed. Given the choice which of the models below would you prefer.

How would you like to see GP services develop in the future:

Develop a small number of GP surgeries in each Primary Care Trust that specialise in treating HIV positive patients.

Have a "One stop shop" treatment centre that would treat your HIV and your other general practice needs. It would include laboratory testing, pharmacy, some social care services and joint clinics with some other specialist clinics for people with HIV such as hepatitis and oncology.
